Akiva Bernstein is the CEO of V51 Consulting. In his nearly two decades with the company, Akiva has served as Director of Sales, Account Director, as well as leading specific project teams. Akiva received his MBA from Schulich School of Business and his BA from McGill University. He is now responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the business, as well as ensuring our mix of services are in line with market demand. Akiva also provides executive level leadership to a variety of clients.
Director of Finance & Talent
Debbie heads up V51’s accounting, finance and human resource functions. She has established financial controls and reporting procedures that enable V51 to accurately forecast and plan for growth. Debbie was a principal in a design accessories importing company where she dealt extensively with the interior design trade. She previously held senior positions with Club Med in Planning and Public Relations in various international settings, including the Bahamas, Mexico and Israel.
UX Design Lead
Bruno is a digital designer focused on planning user experiences that meet the needs of clients and customers. He combines user research methods, business analysis, and information architecture skills to create highly usable websites and intranets. Bruno holds a B.A. in Social Communications and is an active participant in several groups such as Interaction Design Association, User Experience Professionals’ Association, and Microsoft Tech Community.
SharePoint Practice Lead
Antonio is our solution architect with broad experience in enterprise-level solutions, and a deep understanding of Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft SharePoint Server, and SQL Server technologies. Antonio is responsible for project estimates, team structure, solution design, development methodology an acts a the highest escalation point in a project. He has led development teams ranging from 3 to 40 team members both local and offshore.

Robert is a serial entrepreneur, having spent the past 20 years founding and building several successful technology and design businesses, including: Dakis & Wilder, V51 Consulting, and Firmex where he led the Customer Success practice for more than a decade. Most recently, Robert has rapidly achieved extraordinary success launching 6 critically acclaimed restaurants in Toronto and earning Restaurateur of the Year from the CAFP.
Co-Founder & Board Member
Randy co-founded V51 Consulting where he led the design and development of Lexicon, an innovative application development framework. Following the spin-off of Firmex from V51 Consulting, he joined Firmex as CTO where he has led development and quality assurance teams, guiding them on how to approach new designs and solve technical challenges. Randy has over 25 years of software development experience and proven success in architecting for growth.
In 2005, V51 Consulting incubated and spun off a secure document sharing SaaS business called Firmex. Originally developed for one of Canada’s leading M&A law firms, today Firmex is used by over 75,000 companies worldwide and employs over 85 staff.
