Overview
The HealthForceOntario Marketing and Recruitment Agency is designed to help increase the number of qualified health professionals practising in Ontario and is responsible for providing information advice and support to internationally educated health professionals, recruiting qualified health professionals into Ontario, offering locum programs and options to eligle physicians as well as helping to recruit and relocate physicians.
Challenge
The HFOJobs portal includes a web-based application to administer The Nursing Graduate Guarantee program --an initiative of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care aimed at ensuring that every new nursing graduate (RN and RPN) who wishes to work full time in Ontario will have that opportunity by matching them with employers across on Ontario. To administer 5000 nursing positions, the portal required a highly available and scalable hosting solution.
Solution
